We will take time out to reflect on the past year and give thanks for the return of the light after the longest night and the shortest day on 21 December.

This time of year can be one of endless ‘doing’ as we prepare for Christmas … but it is also a good time to connect to the still part of ourselves, which (like the trees), is at a point of stasis – with our sap neither rising nor falling.

We’ll spend some time with the trees in the darkness of the woods, and then move towards the warmth and light of the fire in the stone circle.
